Inaugural Awards Unveiled by Women in Nutraceuticals at SupplySide West Event
On October 29th at an event in Las Vegas, the nonprofit organization Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), under the guidance of top international nutraceutical figures, announced the recipients of its initiatory WIN Awards. The event was organized by WIN, in association with SupplySide West.
The aim of this program is to applaud the accomplishments and efforts of those who promote gender fairness, pioneer groundbreaking research, demonstrate exceptional mentorship in the field of nutraceuticals, and contribute significantly to WIN’s initiatives. The awards are split into distinct categories, each of which embodies WIN’s fundamental objective to encourage women and cultivate an open and supportive atmosphere where their skills and contributions can flourish.
According to WIN President Heather Granato, when Women In Nutraceuticals first considered the idea of initiating an award program, they specifically aimed to highlight individuals whose commendable efforts aligned with their goal of facilitating social and economic parity in the international nutraceutical industry. She explained that the selection process was challenging due to the excellent pool of nominees, however, it was also a thrilling opportunity to honor the extraordinary dedication and effort of these exceptional women. Furthermore, she acknowledged NutraIngredients for fostering an elevated discussion around gender equalities to support women in their personal and professional lives.
