Fatty Acid Research Institute and OmegaQuant Set to Conduct Online Conference in February 2025
admin August 18, 2024 ArticleOmegaQuant, recognized as a top performer in fatty acid testing, is officially joining forces with the Fatty Acid Research Institute (FARI) to host the first-ever Fatty Acid Symposium. This online summit is set to take place from Feb. 10 to 14, 2025.
The event aims to enlighten healthcare professionals about the advantages of fatty acids and their related testing, bringing together scientific researchers to shed light on diverse aspects of the fatty acid domain and present recent discoveries.
FARI boasts several pre-eminent researchers in the fatty acid arena, equipping the symposium attendees with the necessary knowledge to guide their patients on the usage of Omega-3. Important areas of discussion during the symposium will be clinical implications in heart health, brain function, prenatal care, fitness, mental wellness, and overall health.
Dr. Bill Harris, a prominent researcher in the fatty acid field and the founder of OmegaQuant, established FARI in 2020. FARI functions as a consortium of fatty acid researchers who have collectively produced over 40 peer-reviewed studies since its founding, many of which were published in esteemed medical and scientific journals.
A primary goal of FARI is to offer healthcare providers up-to-date, relevant, and precise information concerning fatty acids. FARI envisions that equipped with this knowledge, practitioners will empower their patients to make informed choices regarding their usage.
The symposium’s roster of presenters includes:
“Given the prevailing confusion around fatty acids, we find it imperative to equip healthcare providers with the latest and most accurate information,” asserted Harris. He added, “They are the primary dispensers of health information to patients, thus it’s vital they fully comprehend the potential benefits of Omega-3s.”
“There isn’t another event that focuses on the specific subject of fatty acids and fatty acid testing tailored for a healthcare provider audience. This symposium is a deep dive for those practitioners who discuss these vital nutrients with their patients. We aim to provide enough information to encourage those who don’t yet discuss Omega-3s with their patients to start doing so. Hence, we are optimistic about a high turnout,” Dr. Harris further added.
The virtual symposium will take place via Zoom from February 10-14, 2025, with two sessions daily — 12-1 p.m. EST and 1:30-2:30 EST. It promises to be insightful for healthcare providers and health-conscious consumers.
The five-day symposium will cover 10 fatty acid topics.
