Informa Markets is excited to officially begin registration for the Vitafoods Europe 2025 event, set to run from May 20-22. This year’s event marks a first, taking place at its new location in Fira Barcelona, Gran Via. The venue boasts an expansive exhibition space of 75,000 square meters and promises an enhanced programme of exhibitors. This could potentially make it the most significant event they’ve ever presented.

Julien Bonvallet, group brand director at Vitafoods Europe, expresses their eagerness to welcome the nutraceutical community to this exciting new chapter. He acknowledges Barcelona’s top-tier accommodation facilities, international transport connections, and lively cultural scene as providing an ideal hub to bring together the global nutraceutical community.

One of the highlights at the forthcoming event is a larger finished products area where exhibitors will display the latest market-ready innovations. In addition, a novel pet nutrition hub will be making its debut along with several exciting new features set to be announced soon.

2025’s event will also mark the inception of the Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards. They aim to honor industry breakthroughs in ingredient innovation, diversity and inclusion, among others. The call for entries is open until March 7, with the award ceremony taking place during the event.

Traditional favourite features, like the Vitafoods Insights Theater, the Vitafoods Europe Conference, and the Tasting Center showcasing a variety of ingredient and finished product samples, will continue to be part of the event’s agenda.

Bonvallet underscores their 26-year dedication to serving this dynamic industry’s demands. “Given the booming nutraceutical market, the larger-than-ever exhibition space at Fira Barcelona provides us the perfect platform to expand our offerings,” he stated. He further reassures the visitors that while Vitafoods Europe is evolving, its essence remains unchanged. He anticipates that the event’s reliable features will be supplemented and amplified by the prospects offered by the new fantastic venue.
