Ohly, a renowned supplier of yeast-based ingredients and powders, has just launched their Customer Innovation Center, strategically positioned on the outskirts of Chicago.
The establishment is constructed to encourage meaningful collaboration with partners and customers within the food and nutrition industry. This space will be used for creating novel concepts and solutions right on the spot.
The newly constructed space comes completely furnished with a testing kitchen and sample laboratory. Stocked with the company’s full ingredient selection, the facility facilitates prompt testing and development. Additionally, it possesses machinery to simulate industry processes such as combi convection cooking, frying, snack coating, meat processing, and blast chilling.
The facility also presents an environment where customers can collaborate with Ohly’s application team to perfect recipes and create new concepts in sync with food trends. A specialized analytical laboratory on-site provides testing for key parameters of ingredients and formulations while a variety of meeting areas promote collaboration, training, and trend presentations.
Aaron Rasmussen, the leader of the Customer Innovation Center project and the head of global applications, expressed his commitment to maintaining a strong partnership with their customers. He described the new center as a specially designed facility that aids in providing a superior customer experience. He emphasized that they have everything they need to find the perfect product swiftly, making the new product creation process more efficient for their partners and customers.
The application team is currently wrapping up final touches to prepare for the welcome of customers and distributors at the start of 2025.
